Earlier this year, Tagapo was hailed Top 3 in the Kalinisan sa Bagong Pilipinas Program during the second quarter assessment, a nod to the barangay's continued work in keeping public spaces clean and well-maintained.
The barangay was likewise given a Certificate of Appreciation for its participation in the 2024 Barangay Tanod Drill Competition, where its community safety volunteers showcased discipline, preparedness, and unity.
These recognitions speak volumes about the hard work of Barangay Captain Edison “Etaw” Caravana and the people of Tagapo, whose collective effort continues to raise the bar for grassroots leadership in the city.
Barangay Tagapo has been named Top 1 in the Barangay Road Clearing Operations for the third quarter of 2024 under the Bagong Pilipinas Program, a clear sign of its hands-on efforts to keep roads clean, safe, and accessible for the community.
This achievement comes alongside several other recognitions that reflect the barangay's active role in good governance and community work. Tagapo, as part of the Local Peace and Order Council of Sta. Rosa City, was also honored with a Plaque of Recognition for being one of the most functional councils in the recent Peace and Order Council Performance Audit.
